Crime Watch 3/23/15

The following is from a Vermont State Police Press Release:

On 03-22-15(Sunday), at approximately 2300 hours (11 pm), the victim's vehicle had broken down on Vermont Route 103, in the Proctorsville Gulf, in the town of Cavendish. While the victim was attempting to get help, an unknown male subject stopped to assist the stranded motorist. The suspect assisted the motorist and fixed the mechanical problem. The victim was able to get the vehicle started and the suspect went back to the driver side window to speak with the victim and asked her for money. The victim advised they were unable to give the suspect money at that time. 

The suspect then assaulted the victim through the driver side window. The victim was able to put the vehicle in drive to get away and call the police. 

The suspect's vehicle was described as a small, Chevy S-10 size, blue-ish green, pick up truck, unknown make and model and unknown registration. 

The suspect himself was described as a white male, approximately 5'10" with a slender build. Shoulder length dirty blond hair with a blaze orange winter hat and blue/gray winter coat. The suspect's face had acne scars and he had a raspy "smokers voice." 

Vermont State Police/Rockingham Barracks are requesting anyone that may have witnessed the assault or have information as to the identity of the described suspect contact Trooper Lunderville at the Rockingham Barracks, at 802.875.2112.
