Where: Begins at the Cavendish Historical Society Museum, Main St. Cavendish Village
The Annual Walk and Talk is held yearly to commemorate the anniversary of Phineas Gage’s accident in Cavendish, which ushered in a new age of understanding the brain. The talk begins at 2 pm at the Museum. The walk includes visiting the site of the accident as well as the home of Dr. Harlow who treated him. The accident is approximately 3/4 of a mile from the Museum. Wearing walking shoes is highly recommended.
