March to the Cemetery:  The march begins immediately following the program with the parade forming at lot next to The Cavendish Historical Society Museum. The Green Mountain Union High School Marching Band will provide music and cadence for the parade. The Color Guard from the Ludlow American Legion Post #36 will lead the parade and bear the colors. The parade will proceed to the Mill Street Bridge for the traditional Wreath tossing ceremony honoring the men and women who died serving this country. The parade will then continue to Cavendish Village Cemetery where there will be a brief closing ceremony including a gun salute and the playing of taps.

Special Thanks To:  Evelyn Turco for piano accompaniment; Christine Saul directing the Green Mountain Union High School Band; Ludlow American Legion Post #36 for providing the Color Guard and Firing Squad; Deb Beaupre, CTES Principal; and Assistant Town Manager Bruce McEnaney for arranging police coverage and printing the programs.  This year’s ceremonies are especially dedicated to all of the service men and women presently serving or who have served our country.
